## What is Villa Alosa?

Villa Alosa is a holiday villa in Céret, in the South of France, with a [swimming pool and garden](https://alosa.fr/pool-garden/), for up to 12 guests: 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in two independent apartments, [Alosa Terrace](https://alosa.fr/terrace/) on the ground floor and [Alosa Balcon](https://alosa.fr/balcon/) on the first floor. Each apartment has its own kitchen, living room and entrance, which makes the villa ideal for two families or a group travelling together. Outside July and August, each apartment (6 guests, 3 bedrooms) can also be booked on its own.

## Can I book the whole villa, or just one apartment?

Both. You can rent the whole villa (both apartments, up to 12 guests), Alosa Terrace or Alosa Balcon. In July and August we only rent the whole villa; the rest of the year the apartments can also be booked separately. We’re open all year round.

## Is Villa Alosa suitable for big families, two families, groups of friends or teams?

Yes. Big families often put the grandparents in Alosa Terrace on the ground floor (step-free and all on one level) and the young families upstairs; two families each get their own apartment with its own kitchen, living room and bathrooms; groups of friends cook together or in turns in the two kitchens; and teams have fast wifi and 6 workspaces (see the next question). The whole villa has two kitchens and two living rooms, 6 bedrooms (4 with a king-size bed, 2 with two single beds) and 4 bathrooms, and the pool and garden are yours alone. The two floors are connected outside, by the stairs (there is no inside staircase between them). Downstairs, the large terrace under the pergola easily seats 12 at one table when you put the outdoor tables together.

## Is Villa Alosa suitable for corporate retreats, team workations and business groups?

Yes. Book the [whole villa](https://alosa.fr/whole-villa/#team-retreats) for up to 12 people with exclusive use: nobody else is on site. Villa Alosa has 6 bedrooms (4 with a king-size bed, 2 twin), 4 bathrooms and two full kitchens, and its two separate living rooms, one per floor, work as plenary and breakout spaces. The terrace under the pergola seats 12 at one table.

## How many guests can stay?

Each apartment sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms: two with a king-size bed and one with 2 single beds. The whole villa sleeps up to 12 in 6 bedrooms. All double beds are king-size.

## How many bathrooms are there?

Alosa Terrace has 1 bathroom, 1 en-suite bathroom (in Chambre Cerise) and 1 separate toilet near the entrance. Alosa Balcon has 1 bathroom with toilet and 1 shower room with toilet (upstairs). Together, the whole villa has 4 bathrooms and 3 toilets.

## Is it accessible? Are there stairs?

Alosa Terrace, on the ground floor, is level with the parking: no steps from the car, and the whole apartment is on one level. Alosa Balcon, on the first floor, is reached by a wide outdoor staircase.

## Is there air conditioning?

Alosa Terrace has air conditioning in every room: the living room and all three bedrooms. Alosa Balcon has air conditioning in the living room and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Both apartments also have heating, and Alosa Balcon has a fireplace for cooler evenings.

## Is the pool private or shared?

Private when you book the whole villa: the pool and garden are then yours alone, and your visitors may use the pool too. When the two apartments are booked separately, their guests share the pool and garden. The pool is professionally maintained twice a week and has sun loungers.

## Is the pool heated and open all year? Is it safe for children?

The pool is open all year round but not heated, so how warm the water is depends on the season (and on what you find warm enough). There are no pool hours or rules: just respect your neighbours. The pool area can be locked; please keep young children supervised near the pool.

## Are children welcome? Do you have a baby bed and a high chair?

Yes, families are very welcome. We have 2 baby beds (travel cots) and 2 high chairs; just ask when booking.

## Is there anything for children?

The large garden has room to play and a swing (use at your own risk), and the pool area can be locked. The nearest playground is about 10 minutes’ walk away (2 minutes by car); for more playgrounds in and around Céret, see [PlayGuide](https://playguide.eu/app/66/ceret).

## Can I bring my dog or other pets?

Sorry, no pets are allowed in either apartment.

## Is smoking allowed? Can we have a party?

No smoking and no parties, please. There are no fixed quiet hours, but we ask you to respect the neighbours and the peaceful surroundings.

## What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 4 pm (16:00) and check-out by 10 am (10:00), with self check-in using a key box. We’re flexible, so just ask if you need a different time.
